Stacks of architectural timber in Nelson

Nelson's first choice for all architectural timber needs

The Top of the South architectural timber merchant

At Nelson Architectural Timber Limited (NAT) we pride ourselves on sourcing and supplying a wide range of quality timbers such as recycled hardwood beams and speciality milled oversized new timbers to a range of talented professionals such as architects, designers, builders, boat builders, joiners, furniture and cabinet makers, retailers, artists, landscape suppliers and designers, and hobbyists.

At NAT, we offer custom architectural timber milling according to our customers’ requirements; this could be by way of oversized timber lengths of up to 12.5 metres. We can also provide weatherboarding in oversized lengths of up to 9 metres from our Nelson base.
The Director, Tony Cammock, has a wealth of over 30 years' experience as a speciality timber joiner/cabinet and furniture maker - both in New Zealand and Australia. Tony's work, over the years, has featured in magazines such as NZ House & Garden, Home NZ and Australian Vogue. Tony's vast knowledge of speciality timbers (a subject dear to his heart) enables him to provide the most expert accurate advice on, among other things, the specific timber species that is optimal for your particular projects' requirements.
